What is Positive Discipline?

Positive Discipline…. It’s what works! I know. You may have heard that Time Out isn’t beneficial but were you given the tools to know what to do…. Instead? Based on the work of bestselling author Dr. Jane Nelsen, Parenting with Positive Discipline workshops will equip you with the tools that will drive your relationship with your children in a “positive” direction while not relying on rewards, punishments OR time out. Do you find yourself telling your child things rather than asking more questions? “Go brush your teeth.” OR “What do you do after bath?” “Pick up those toys.” OR “What do you have to do before we go outside?” Start inviting your child to think by asking more questions. Cooperation does not mean do what I tell you and do it now. We want to equip our children with life skills. (Oh man, this compliments Montessori so well!!) You will walk away with tools that set you free from power struggles and feelings of failure.

Cost:  $100.00 per person or $150 per couple for the 6-week workshop. Open to public. QCM parents receive a 50% discount.
Fee includes Dr. Jane Nelsen's Positive Discipline book and related handouts.
